Thank you Cole, for an amazing exposition of the war between Gaza and Israel. This is so very distressing to so many of us. I have a very good Lebanese friend who recently left Beirut to visit family in Kansas. I first checked in with her son in New York to see how he was doing. He let me know his Mom is safe in Wichita. I called and was overwhelmed by the tears and pain in her voice. I am going to Kansas at the end of the month - I hope I can be of some service as a friend and also just to talk and be human together. After all, all friendships and understanding begin as a one to one proposition.
